This development establishes South Miami-Dade’s first micro-datacenter and EV hub, leveraging federal incentives to support over 50 startups and foster economic equity in a Targeted Urban Area.

Infrastructure and Economic Integration

On Wednesday, 4 March 2026, Remergify and Farrington Capital Group formally announced their partnership to develop ReadySetFundGrow (RSFG) in Homestead, Florida [1]. This project represents a strategic convergence of digital and physical infrastructure, situated on a 1,858 square meter parcel with frontage on US-1 [1]. The development is designed to serve as South Miami-Dade’s first micro-datacenter while simultaneously operating as a technology incubator and an electric vehicle (EV) charging hub [1]. By combining these distinct sectors, the partners aim to create a comprehensive ecosystem that provides enterprise-grade digital tools alongside clean energy solutions for the region [1].

Fostering Equity Through Investment

A core component of the RSFG initiative is its focus on economic equity within a federally designated Targeted Urban Area (TUA) [1]. Alfred Farrington II, Founder and Managing Director of Farrington Capital Group, stated that the project prioritizes economic equity alongside technological advancement [1]. Due to its strategic location within a TUA, the project is eligible for up to $550,000 in public funding, which may include Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), New Markets Tax Credits, and state enterprise zone benefits [1]. The facility aims to house over 50 incubator member companies, with projections suggesting the creation of employment for 100 to 200 workers [1]. To support this workforce, the ReadySetFundGrow Foundation plans to offer free digital literacy workshops and IT certification programs, including CompTIA and Google support training [1].
